According to Crazy for Books, the Book Blogger HOP is going to have a new crazy twist to it each week. This week, we were asked to give readers our names and why we started blogging:
My name is Rica. Sonia and I started blogging because well, we just felt like it. We are people who love to read, write, and enrich ourselves and prior to the creation of the blog, we were not very productive. We thought that practicing our writing with reviews and reading more is certainly a better way to use our time as opposed to just sitting around and watching Gossip Girl all day :) Anyway, this all started one day when we were just sitting at our houses, bored as usual. We were chatting on Skype then all of a sudden, she goes, "Hey I have a great idea!"... and The Smarty Owl has progressed a lot since then. We really enjoy sharing our thoughts with you and we hope you enjoy them too!
Congrats on your debut novel!! I am very excited and eager to read The Thirteenth Chime! The cover art is amazing and very creative. I'm sure your book will be very popular. I'll spread the word. Thanks for following!
