Inertia by Brandon Noronha

Come home from school ready to go
Transcribe your list of successes and woes
Thirty minutes to eat, another to shower
Each minute past, and with it your power
Decide to eat to your favorite TV show
Going down a path which you too regrettably know
A friend calls you talk, you laugh you play
So quickly the minutes seem to fade away
Arrive home of course is needed a shower
But it's already been such late an hour

Two options now to work or sleep
Easy to see which one you'll keep
But what of your obligations and sorrow
Alas, perhaps you'll figure it out tomorrow

  1. Inertia Part Two: F = ma

Today I got up and it was sunny
Time to go to school and be smart, maybe funny
What am I going to do today?
    Time keeps on ticking away
Gotta choose what I'm gonna do
Don't have time to be feelin blue
Gotta be fast, gotta be superhuman
    Gotta have wicked sharp acumen
And the nI decided this was my day
I'm gonna do it all MY way
